9th International Workshop on Petri Nets and Performance Models

September 11-14, 2001
RWTH Aachen, Germany

Department of Computer Science
Laboratory for Performance Evaluation and Distributed Systems

PNPM 2001 will be hosted at the RWTH Aachen as part of the the 2001 Aachen International Multiconference on Measurement, Modelling, and Evaluation of Computer-Communication Systems. Please follow this link for general information, such as location, accomodation, registration and travelling. A printable call for papers for PNPM 2001 can be found here: (ps, 172 kB) or (pdf, 97 kB).

SCOPE OF PNPM 2001

The objective of the PNPM workshop is to be the major forum for the presentation of original contributions in the areas of timed and stochastic Petri nets and their applications. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: Analysis and simulation methodology; Largeness, stiffness, non-Markovian models; Quantitative and qualitative aspects and their relation; Real-time aspects; Connection with other specification techniques; Computer tools and general-purpose modeling frameworks; Performance and dependability evaluation; All kinds of applications in communications, real-time and embedded systems, computer systems and architectures, manufacturing, logistics, workflow, business and others. In particular, we encourage to submit papers on newer applications such as Internet, embedded Internet, wireless systems, computer security, e-business, etc.

ACCEPTED PAPERS

The submission deadlines have all been passed by now. 23 full papers have been accepted and the contributing authors need to submit their final CRC directly to the IEEE CS Press office. Information on tutorial and tool paper submissions should be requested from Holger Hermanns and Peter Kemper (addresses below).
